II. Rights of the User and the data subject

With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right

  • on confirmation of whether data relating to them are processed, on information about the processed data, on further information on data processing and on copies of the data (see also Art. 15 GDPR);
  • for correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (see also Art. 16 GDPR);
  • to the immediate deletion of the data relating to them (cf. also Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, if further processing in accordance with Art. 17 Para. 3 GDPR is required, to a restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
  • on receipt of the data concerning them and provided by them and on the transmission of this data to other providers / responsible persons (cf. also Art. 20 GDPR);
  • on complaint to the supervisory authority Bayerischen Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), provided that they believe that the data concerning them will be processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data have been disclosed to the provider about any correction or deletion of data or the restriction of processing that takes place on the basis of Articles 16, 17 Paragraph 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not exist if this communication is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has the right to information about these recipients.

According to Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects also have the right to object to the future processing of their data, provided that the data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permitted.

III. Information on data processing

Server data

The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, as long as no further storage is required for evidence purposes. Otherwise, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until an incident has been finally clarified.

ONLINE APPLICATIONS / PUBLICATION OF VACANCIES

We offer you the opportunity to apply for open vacancies (via email) via our website. If you submit your application data, we will process and store your work and application data electronically. The legal basis for these processes is Section 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 (1) GDPR.

If an employment contract is concluded after the application process, we will keep the data you submitted during the application in your personnel file in order to fulfill  the common and necessary organizational and administrative processes - of course taking into account further legal obligations. The legal basis for these tasks is also § 26 Abs. 1 S. 1 BDSG in conjunction. Art. 88 (1) GDPR.

If an application is rejected, which we check using the data provided, the application data will be deleted two months after submission. The deletion does not affect if the data legislation is governed by statutory regulations, e.g. due to the obligation to provide evidence according to the AGG, a joint storage of up to four months or until legal behavior has been completed. The legal basis for this fall is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR and § 24 Para. 1 No. 2 BDSG. Our interest is in legal defense or enforcement.

Contact options

If you contact us using a contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The specification of the data is necessary for processing and answering your request - without providing it, we cannot answer your request or at best only to a limited extent.

We expressly point out that data transmitted via a contact form or by email is not secure. We do not use encryption, because in our view there is currently no practical, generally widespread technical solution. With this in mind, we recommend that you do not send in particular any personal medical information by email. If you do so at your own risk and on your own initiative, we consider this a declaration of consent that we should respond in the same way despite the existing risks.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted, provided that your query has been answered in the end and there are no legal retention requirements to the deletion, such as in the event of a subsequent contract execution.

Google-Maps

Our website uses Google Maps to display our location and to provide directions. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: Google).

To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established whenever our website is accessed.

If you access the Google Maps components integrated into our website, Google will store a cookie on your device via your browser. Your user settings and data are processed to display our location and create a route description. We cannot prevent Google from using servers in the USA.

The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing the functionality of our website.

By connecting to Google in this way, Google can determine from which website your request has been sent and to which IP address the directions are transmitted.

Google reCAPTCHA

Our website uses Google reCAPTCHA to check and prevent automated servers ("bots") from accessing and interacting with our website. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: Google).

This service allows Google to determine from which website your request has been sent and from which IP address the reCAPTCHA input box has been used. In addition to your IP address, Google may collect other information necessary to provide and guarantee this service.   

The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our website and in the prevention of unwanted, automated access in the form of spam or similar.

FontAwesome

In order to be able to display fonts and visual elements of our website, we use FontAwesome’s external fonts.  FontAwesome is a service of

When you access our website, a connection is established to the FontAwesome server in the USA in order to enable and update the display of fonts and visual elements.

Matomo

We use Matomo on our website. This is an open source software which allows for analyzing the use of our website. Your IP address, the page (s) of our website that you visit, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), your length of stay on our website and the frequency of accessing one of our websites are processed .

To collect this data, Matomo saves a cookie on your device via your internet browser. This cookie is valid for one week.

The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis and optimization of our website.

However, we use Matomo with the anonymization function "Automatically Anonymize Visitor IPs". This anonymization function shortens your IP address by two bytes, so that an assignment to you or to the Internet connection you use is impossible.
